Clean, old-fashioned rooms packed with character. Retro bathroom fixtures, yet functional and well-maintained.

Lighting needs improvement. harsh fluorescents make the space feel unwelcoming. The traditional style of the bed might not be everyone’s preference—definitely not soft. Some upgrades, like softer light options, could enhance the experience for guests.

perfect base for exploring tokyo's best attractions and parks

it was just perfect for us with easy access to nippori station and local charm and eateries just a few steps away, making it super convenient to enjoy the vibrant tokyo feel while strolling through nearby yanaka ginza and visiting the historic nezu shrine, set in a peaceful neighborhood that's perfect for weekend walks.

attentive owner

Highly recommend for solo travelers

The owner was so attentive, gave me a great map with local hotspots, and made me feel like I was at home.

It wasn't exactly cheap , but for what you get it's acceptable.

Staying here with friends was a blast. We had easy access to local eateries and enjoyed the overall calm of the neighborhood. We visited the Tokyo National Museum and had a great time at the Imperial Garden Theatre. The staff was super friendly, and rooms were well-kept and spacious.

The walk from the station can be a bit tough with some steep steps, but the location is worth it for the charm.

The Japanese-Style Deluxe Twin Room was super comfy! We loved the futons. they were cozy for sleeping after a long day. It was clean and well-designed. We had a nice fridge and kettle that made things easier. Opening the window for fresh air was a huge bonus. However, the lighting felt a bit harsh at times, which could dampen the vibe a bit.
